Direct mode multiplies that single stream by the number of selected destinations; FeelThere Cloud keeps it at one contribution stream. A safety margin is then applied to produce the recommended stable upload speed.

Why upload stability matters

A speed test may show a high upload number, but that's a snapshot of peak performance. Unstable upload, packet loss, congestion or signal fluctuations can still cause buffering, dropped frames or disconnections. A connection that holds a steady 8 Mbps often outperforms one that peaks at 30 Mbps but dips unpredictably, which is why a safety margin is suggested.
